Vaccine & Testing Registration
As OIC prepares to rollout the COVID-19 vaccine, our priority is to make a substantial impact in the communities that we serve. COVID-19 has ravaged through these same communities for over a year claiming thousands of lives in the process and leaving several thousands of others with post illness complications. We continue to meet these disparities with resolution and opportunity.
To prioritize vaccination within our communities, we are seeking to pre-register all individuals who are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Pre-Registration acts as a reservation to receive your shot as they become available to members of the community. Attached are pre-registration flyers that can be printed for distribution and posted. We are also still offering the OIC community COVID-19 testing.

How It works
Once you have registered for your vaccine an OIC representative will be in touch to schedule your vaccine appointment. You MUST have a scheduled appointment in order to get vaccinated.
What is the Testing Process?
We will offer both walk-up and drive-up testing (according to specification of site). Social distancing will be implemented at each site.
When is Testing Available?
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10am – 2pm.
What is the Cost of Testing?
There is no cost for testing with or without insurance.
How will I get my results?
Test results should be available within 2 – 4 days, but this will vary by patient. An OIC medical representative will call you with your results.
What You Should Bring
Persons seeking to be tested are asked to bring photo ID and insurance card for registration. Lack of insurance does not disqualify anyone for testing and all who may have been exposed or are experiencing symptoms are encouraged to attend.
OIC MAHC Unit
The OIC MAHC unit (mobile clinic) is already actively administering COVID-19 testing from various locations in the community.
OIC COVID-19 Deployment Unit
The OIC COVID-19 Deployment unit is an additional resource that can be accessed by businesses and organizations seeking to test groups of 25 people or more. If you are interested in having testing done at your site, please call 252-977-3730 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our thoughts are with all of the families and businesses throughout the Rocky Mount community that have been affected by this virus.
